The main function of the honeycomb silencer is to reduce airborne noise within the duct. The silencer is made of glass wool coated with black glass fibre; thanks to these materials, it has been awarded Class A2 fire resistance certification in accordance with the UNI EN 13501-1 standard. The honeycomb silencer is supplied flat-packed, minimising storage and shipping costs, and can be easily assembled on site using a quick-fit system. The honeycomb silencer is modular to suit different duct sizes. The individual honeycomb silencers can be joined using a snap-fit system and, with the aid of adhesive clips, can be secured to the inner surface of the duct.
