From the air to the environment:
our commitment to the planet

Sustainability is one of our company’s most important values. Our commitment to the environment is embedded in all our products, which are designed to save energy, reduce CO₂ emissions and improve the energy performance of buildings, but it is also an integral part of our day-to-day operations.

That is why we have long been promoting initiatives, solutions and practices aimed at protecting our planet and minimising our environmental impact, such as using energy from renewable sources, cutting waste by reducing the amount of unsorted waste in favour of recyclable waste, and adopting sustainable transport.

We constantly monitor our consumption of electricity, natural gas and water: the normalised data show a continuous improvement both in the ratio of TOE per FTE and in the turnover generated per TOE.

Among the strategic investments currently underway, ClaUtek is introducing a new production line for panels used in air-handling units at its San Giacomo plant.
The project will enable the automation of a production stage that is currently carried out manually at the Chiuro plant, helping to optimise the entire production flow and improve operational efficiency (in terms of processing times and resources used).

This initiative represents a further step forward in the company’s journey towards greater environmental sustainability. The ability to cut sheet metal directly at both plants will, in fact, significantly reduce the transfer of materials between production sites, the number of journeys made by company vehicles and, consequently, CO₂ emissions and fuel consumption: a significant reduction in the environmental impact associated with logistics.
